ABOUT PATRICE

Concept Artist. Worldbuilder. Image Maker.

I’m a French concept artist and self-taught illustrator with a lifelong passion for the fantastic and the visual arts. I began my creative journey in special effects workshops, where I designed make-up, puppets, and sets for film. In 1987, I directed two short films—Saxum (8mm) and Rythm (16mm)—blending sculpture, motion, and visual storytelling.

During the early 1990s, I expanded into children’s illustration and animation, while also launching my own comic series, including Allande, Les Fils de la Nuit, and Remparts de sang.

The rest of the ‘90s were marked by some of my most iconic work, including concept design for The Fifth Element and a music video for Mylène Farmer. This period opened the door to a wide range of creative collaborations across animation (Dragon Flyz, Malo Korigan, Le Chant des Étoiles), advertising (L’Oréal, Chanel, Lancôme, Renault, Aérospatial), and feature films (Maybe, Belphegor, The Trap Woman).

I’ve since contributed to the visual universes of major film productions such as Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, Immortal (Ad Vitam), Arthur and the Minimoys, and Underworld.

Today, my work lives at the intersection of dreams, science fiction, mythology, and design. Everything in this store is part of that vision—art you can wear, collect, and carry into your world."
